This holiday season, Arizona Philharmonic and Yavapai Ballet Theatre co-present a fully staged production of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker, its beloved score played by a live orchestra. On Christmas Eve, young Clara receives a Nutcracker doll at her family’s lively holiday party. That night she is swept into a dream where the Nutcracker comes to life, battles the Mouse King, and transforms into a Prince, who guides her through a shimmering forest of snow to the Kingdom of Sweets, where the Sugar Plum Fairy welcomes them with a series of enchanting dances.
Yavapai Ballet Theatre brings the story to life with a full, vibrant set, glittering hand-crafted costumes, and a cast of dancers drawn from across our region, now joined by live music from Arizona Philharmonic.
Yavapai Ballet Theatre was founded in January 2026 so that Yavapai County’s most serious dancers could find professional-level training and performance opportunities close to home rather than in Phoenix or out of state. The Nutcracker is the company’s first full-length production.
The Nutcracker is a special set of performances sold separately from season ticket packages. Tickets are sold by Yavapai Ballet Theatre.

- VIP: $85.00 adult ($90.00 with fees), $50.00 child ($53.25 with fees)
- Tier 1: $60.00 adult ($63.75 with fees), $30.00 child ($32.25 with fees)
- Tier 2: $45.00 adult ($48.00 with fees), $22.00 child ($23.85 with fees)
- Tier 3: $35.00 adult ($37.50 with fees), $15.00 child ($16.50 with fees)
Tickets are sold by Yavapai Ballet Theatre, and the price in parentheses is what you pay at checkout with their ticketing fee added.
