Dances and Dialogue

Sunday, May 3, 2026
The husband-and-wife team of Katherine McLin (violin) and Andrew Campbell (piano) leads this violin–piano journey from Baroque elegance and Korngold’s Shakespeare scenes to the late-Romantic drama of Brahms, dances from Henry Flurry and Piazzolla, and Ashokan Farewell.

Performance Prelude: In The Artist’s Words

On each Thursday before the concert, we offer a social hour and an interactive presentation with one of AZ Phil’s musicians. You’ll gain insight into their art and into the upcoming concert.

Light hors d’oeuvres and drinks will be offered.

Coming up: Double Steinway Artist James D’León (piano) leads Performance Prelude—In the Artist’s Words at Mountain Artists Guild, in advance of the March concert, Colors in Spring: Fire, Light, and Renewal. James will share how he approaches chamber music from the inside: what he listens for first, how rehearsals take shape, and how a program finds its character. Expect an open conversation, musical insight, and time for questions.

Thursday, March 12, 3:30 pm – 5:00 pm at the Mountain Artists Guild, 228 N Alarcon, Prescott.
