DESCRIPTION:Full Orchestra \n\nMendelssohn: Piano Concerto No. 1\nBeethoven: Symphony No. 7\nArgento: Royal Invitation (Homage to the Queen of Tonga)\n\nPeter Bay\, conductor\nSteinway Artist Thomas Pandolfi on piano \nMaestro Peter Bay returns to Prescott to open Arizona Philharmonic’s fifth season with a joyful program. Argento’s Royal Invitation is a humorous ballet score on the famous appearance of a charming Tongan queen at the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II. Pianist and Steinway Artist Thomas Pandolfi performs Felix Mendelssohn’s brilliant Piano Concerto No. 1. The concert closes with Beethoven’s exuberant Symphony No. 7\, a work that Richard Wagner famously called the “apotheosis of the dance.”

DESCRIPTION:Featuring flute\, clarinet and cello trio in the beautiful setting of the Kiwanis Amphitheater nestled in the cool pines. \nJULY 17\, 2022 \nTwo shows\, 2 and 4 pm \nIn case of rain\, the concert will be moved indoors.  \nEnjoy this unique trio of Arizona Philharmonic musicians\, featuring Mary Jackson (clarinet)\, Jeannette Moore (flute)\, and Marguerite Salajko (cello)\, who offer a concert of delightful and beautiful music.
