DESCRIPTION:Close our 2025–26 season with husband-and-wife duo Katherine McLin (violin) and Andrew Campbell (piano) in a program that pairs musical dialogue with dance‑driven finales. It opens in Baroque elegance with a Leclair Violin Sonata. Zwilich’s Episodes gives that dialogue an American accent: a song‑like Arioso followed by a compact\, dance‑like Vivace. Korngold (of Hollywood film score fame) follows with four scenes from Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing moving from an intimate bridal chamber to comic march\, garden scene\, and a hornpipe masquerade. After intermission\, Brahms’s Violin Sonata No. 3 anchors the afternoon with its long dramatic arc.
