It sets the stage for Mendelssohn’s celebrated Violin Concerto in E Minor\, Op. 64\, with McLin showcasing the work’s emotional depth and brilliance. Arthur Honegger’s Pastorale d’été offers a tranquil moment\, with its depiction of a peaceful summer day in the Swiss Alps. The evening concludes with Joseph Haydn’s Symphony No. 92 in G Major\, “Oxford\,” heralded for its joyous sophistication.
