DESCRIPTION:Arizona Philharmonic is pleased to present a new interactive “lecture” series during each concert cycle for the 2024 – 2025 season.  \nPrior to each Sunday performance\, on Saturdays at 11am at the Ruth Street Theater\, Arizona Philharmonic guest artists will engage lecture participants in lively coachings\, discussions\, and workshops based on various musical and artistic aspects of the upcoming concert. Enjoy creating personal connections with high-caliber musicians and artists in this unique lecture series. \nPlease note this event requires a ticket\, and is separate from the pre-concert talk at 2pm on Sunday.\n\nJoin Maestro Peter Bay and internationally acclaimed pianist\, James D’León\, as they showcase the exciting world of piano concerti.  \nDon’t miss out on your chance to interact and learn from Bay and D’León on stage of the Ruth Street Theater as they discuss important and varied piano concerti throughout the different periods of music history\, including a special sneak peak at the Kapustin Piano Concerto No. 4\, Op. 56\, prior to Sunday’s performance at the Echoes and Riffs season closer concert. \nThis exciting community lecture takes place on Saturday\, April 26th at 11a on stage at the Ruth Street Theater.
